They're separated by regions depending on where your loved one is located. Or wherever your loved one is located at the time of his/her parole come up, is where you would send your support letters & package to. 1st Steps

After you've been approved, and set up your account with securus, you can put money on the account to accept calls, or if you have a direct billing which bills you every month, you'll be good to go!

Accepted cell phones:
Any cell on a plan, meaning you pay monthly and NOT by minutes, EXAMPLES: AT&T, T-MOBILE, VERIZON, SPRINT, even FAMILY MOBILE from Walmart since you pay monthly and not by minutes it isn't considered a phone you can't use with TDCJ.
TDCJ E-commerce (sending money or food)
Step 1
Make sure box is checked for accept terms,click confirm, then Place your loved ones TDCJ # in & click search.
Step 2
Look at their limit, so you know how much they can receive in food, then click confirm.
Step 3
Fill your cart with things they need, categories on the left, fill cart with items, once done click on shopping cart.
Step 4
Check out, here you can modify such as remove, add or update your cart, once done, click on checkout.
Step 5
You'll then go to the details page, place your card info, your name, and email to send your purchase confirmation to, click next, then you're DONE!
Extra information you might wonder
They'll get their things with in this time frame.
DO NOT USE THE BACK BUTTON, will LOCK you out for 24 hrs, then you'll have to wait another whole day to send anything. Click on “update shopping cart”, to add or remove anything, when removing make sure box next to item is checked, then click on “ update shopping cart”.

Step 1
You can create an account using your email, or login, in this case I'll login, since I have an account already, once done click on login.
Step 2
Once logged in, you can choose who to write to from the drop down, add someone or remove, then click compose, to write an e- message.
Step 3
Write your message in the box, once done, click send.
Step 4
It'll tell you how many stamps you will use, and who you're sending it to, click continue, then a confirmation will be displayed, & soon your loved one will receive your letter!

How long will it take?
If sent before 2 p.m will receive same day before mail is sent out that day to your loved ones, mines usually gets to him at 9 p.m before phones go off at 10 p.m .
How do they receive it?
The unit receives it as a fax, it's printed then placed in a folder and given to your loved one during pass out of mail, if you attach picture it will be in black & white.
Does the unit read them?
Yes, so be careful what you say :) !
